Once upon a time, way way back in time, somewhere in Italy lived the MARCHESA LUISA CASATI.
Yes ... she is the woman in the picture above ... And
Yes ... that pose, those pearl rings, that wavy short hair and the fur coat, the marchesa was posing back in the 1919 ... And No ... it ain't a Vogue editorial.
The marchesa was the muse of lots of designers like: Gohn Galliano, Tom Ford, Alexander Mcqueen, Zac Posen and Karl Lagerfield, and of course she inspired artists of her time like the famous Man Ray.
What really made me obsessed about her, obviously, she is the OBSESSION DU JOUR, the marchesa scared me in some pictures and amazed me in others.

" I want to be a living work of art " these were her words, her dream that she achieved.
"Women of the world today dress alike. They are like so many loaves of bread. To be beautiful one must be unhurried. Personality is needed, there is to much sameness. The world seems only to have a desire for more of this sameness. To be different is to be alone" , Marchesa Luisa Casati.
I guess that was how she felt when she was the first to wear live snakes as necklaces and cheetahs as bags, just to express herself, to show her uniqueness. Already we are lucky since we live in different time.
Take notes ladies " celebrate your uniqueness, stay true to yourselves"
